No asi takhle, v tom ovislinku je zrejme znacne orezany iwpriv.
Asi bude treba nahrat tam kompletne vlastni firmware, ktery vychazi z referencni instalace, kterou dodava realtek pro rtl8181.
Tam jsou klasicke wireless tools 25 a txpower se da normalne nastavovat pres

Y je cislo kanalu a num je hodnota ..
Co se tyce radia tak ovislink pouziva sa2400, ktere ma podle specifikace umoznovat regulaci v rozmezi -15dBm az 5dBm na vystupu. Coz ovsem znamena, ze je tam zrejme pouzity nejaky zesilovac, aby to dosahlo vyssiho vykonu. Otazka kolik je potom to minimum kdyz maximum je nejakych 18dBm ..
Dalsi otazka je, jestli by ten zesilovac nesel jednoduse odstranit. sa2400 je vse v jednom chipu, takze zrejme musi byt nekde venku dobre dosazitelny ..
No jsou to vsechno jenom dohady a spekulace. Ale za tu cenu kolik stoji budu klidne do jednoho vrtat a pajet.

We are an ISP provider in Middle Europe, Czech republic. After long period of testing we decided to use your product at the "last mile" point to connect our customers to internet. We suppose mass usage of WL-1120AP, but at this moment our technical department reporting that we have two problems which blocking us to do so:
1.Too much RF (TXpower output of unit
We really appreciate a lot of usefull features included into this product, but we miss two important things to us: we need fine RF power regulation, in fact we need to decrease RF power of this unit to fulfil maximum RF output limits in our country established by our laws. We noticed the power is regulable by unit's admin interface, but lowest value gives us still too much of RF power. Without variable atennuation of RF power we can not install this product on customer side, desired RF power depending on local conditions and external RF antenna used. (Usage equipment with RF output higher than allowed is prohibited).
2.Client to client communication
We have tested new firmware which was downloaded from your techsup webpage. After upgrading we noticed that unit with newest FW alows client to client data transfer, which is sometimes undesired. Is there any chance to allow/disallow this kind of transfer?(I.E in the admin setup). We have upgraded test unit's firmware and we are unable to get block client to client transfer back. Is there any way how to backup or obtain previous firmware?
We think that features above should be interesting for more customers. We are ready pay money for firmware change, if necessary, because we are impresserd by WL-1120 and its features, quality and power/price ratio so we suppose to use it in our rapidly growing infrastructure.

Hehe to jsem fakt zvedavy. Problem je, ze ti sikmoockove se nejsou ochotni bavit ani pri odberech v radech 100 tisic kusu apod. (Je to prakticky vyzkouseno nekolika dovozci ruznych tehle zarizeni)

Maximum output level (MOL)of RF signal have to be under limit 100mW /=MOL/(-10dBW or 20dBm) based on recommendation CEPT/ERC REC 70-03 which is valid in the whole Europe, not only in the Czech republic. MOL (maximum output level)= sum of RF Power of all parts RF broadcasting chain.
Reasons
For first I woud like to inform you about limits that are valid commonly in the whole Europe.
Total RF output of whole broadcasting chain have to be maximum 17dBm, all powers are sum.
Example
Access point WL1120 (HW_TX_POWER=17.5dBm) + 14dB external antenna =MOL 31.5dBm = PROBLEM.
External antenna is necessary for supplying singnal to longer distances.
Actualy in our country provider broking 17dBm limit can be penalty up to 200.000 USD.
Benefits for Ovislink
Troubles adjusting causing a lot of people providing here Internet services using old Atmel chipset (WL-1100AP) with a little bit hacked smnp manager to get RF output fine adjustable.
If you can offer an AP with fine output regulation and potentionaly block client-client mode, you can expect increase amount of selled units in the Europe (EU). This two features makes WL1120 product really interesting for more companies in the Europe.
I think that could be good reason for you to do minor changes in the fw code
Quantity
We planinig use for first phase approx 100 units in the real conditions at the customers and test MTBF. This phase have to be six months long to make us sure there is no problem with this product, then we will decide .

We tryied some exploring of unit with terminal and units internal serial interface
Unit using BusyBox system (GPL)
built-in script setwlan.sh writes HW_TX_POWER values to Philips RF frontend registry. We suppose there is necessary modify a bit iwpriv command which writes values to SA2400 registry.
Can we get source code of WL1120 firmware which using GPL licenced system?
Trosku (opravdu malo) jsem hledal v inetovych obchodech tohle zarizeni a narazil jsem na 2 rozdilna. Lisi se cenou a popisem (vetsinou v ceniku neni poznat rozdil).
V ruznych kat. listech jsem nasel ze ma bud 1 nebo 2 LAN porty.
Jaka mate zarizeni vy? Hodil by se mi ten 2 port.
